Coniferæ. 210.- Ephedra antisyphilitica. - No specimens. - Very frequent in cations of the Humboldt + broken Ws., &c.- the later ranges. - A difference of habit was observed- one variety being coarsely & divaricately branched, the branches short & comparatively stout, the other plant more or less glaucous - the other of a denser growth, with longer, more slender & subacicular branches, bright green - The two varieties were seen together. Fruit not seen, flowers & frigs not examined. 211.- Pinus ponderosa. - No specimens. On the Walker + Pearine ranges. Also occasionally on the range west of Winnemucca Valley. 212.- Pinus monophylla. - No specimens. Not found in this District for one, but reported as growing on the E. Scott and the East Humboldt range. 213.- Juniperus occidentalis. - Sheet 343. - Spec¹-3.- E. Trucker Wts. - July 31st 1867. - Common on the W. Trucker & East West Humboldt ranges, and upon granite mountain slopes. - High. Picea grandis. City. - Libocedrus decurrens. King's Canon, near Casa City. With the East.
