None of the species in Herb. Torr. have fruits fruitily open that seem to be the same as also found with E. campestris (Plagiotropis, etc.) — but one of Strobilus which is mine exactly, from Eagle Valley — the fruit broadly ovate with an abruptly broad beak, somewhat tuberculate cristate and also tuberculate marginated, scarcely Transversely ripened. The fruit of E. campestris is similar but more strongly rugose. Nothing of this in Herb. Gray, nor in Herb. Torr. Though near Eglomasham — yet it seems to be distinct.
