119. Amminkia lycoperoides, Lehman. (Dr. Prod. X. 117.) The specimen is so exceedingly variable in habit, foliage, position of the stamens & other characters of the flower, that it becomes unavoidable to include in this species both A. Americana, Walt. Fed., and A. intermedia, Fisch. Mey., + perhaps also A. spectabilis, Torr., as has already been suggested by Prof. Dr. Winy & Dr. Gray.
