114 c. 4 h. = M. paniculata, f. - distinguished by its general minuteness, (varying in degree) & by its lanceolate acute edgy lobes. The extreme forms of the two species are readily distinguished but there is frequent intermediate one that may be placed with either. Perhaps that habit is precisely the same.

117. Ver. nivalis - leaves attenuated into a point, upper ones broad at base with + sharply toothed margin. The lower leaves broader lanceolate + dense pinnate.

This should be distinguished as a new species - more distinctly marked than most of the others. - It is the H.H., collected by [illegible] (1876) in County Durham, North Yorks & Yorkshire, + by Standing, Warks, + by Burke in Stoke Country.
