Labellum sharply bent down down near the base & ends with a dark spot at the bend [illegible] 1260 m. dense forest a flatish ridge. on west side of large river, will enter de mor river. forest looking much like lowland forest with many palms, including large trunkless palms and may large trees. deep moist humus, a root floor. many more lianas and fewer epiphytes at lower level in forest. 5503 Magnoliaceae. land lichen from tree on the forest floor, petals yellow orange reflected, stamens reflected, filaments green.
