5500 Cyphomandra. shy tree, small tree to 6.0 m. arching at pen step slope. fruits yellow mid green stripes when mature. (see may photo). inflorescences terminal, tree only with 1st fruits - no flowers, these fruits arising were from the last pen flowers after 2 fruits from an inflorescence. After 2 series of inflorescence each had fruits about same size. [illegible] fruits from terminal inflorescence, about the same size but one delay must be younger - tree with many fruits, leaves very brittle. fruits falling to ground when mature. back of tree groundcover rougher.
