It is distinct from any named spec. in Herb. Gray, Nicotiana triflora has
similar corolla & calyx but the leaves are pinnate & closely
set lower on stem. May, the flowers in long racemose racemes.
Anderson 264, from near Carson City, 355 from Clear Lake, Fremont,
4/1, 1866, [illegible] raised by Hall from California and an unknown form
and the same as Zorn's Nicotiana triflora var. ? Bicolor of Whipple.
Reports differing from the last in the usually simple stem (one of Anderson's
only branched) non-splayed calyx lobes, much longer corolla tube with
longer & more divided limb.
