be the V. Californica of Brandt, while the Oregon form has greenish flowers
with the branches of the inflorescence drooping & dropping, the V. Subsulcata Gray,
nearly the V. Bicoloriana Benth., which is albae B. & Cham. & d. d. The catena
V. will seem to differ only from subacerosa in width, the segments further somewhat less
attenuate at base, and in the more open & longer branched panicle.
