(Ann. 4. 110) The genus is closely allied as indicated by Sodier, to wildtria, Schulz (Flora 1829, part 1. p. 1. t. 1.) but can clearly be considered generic. Wildtria differs specifically in its 2-petalled perianth, triangular & triangular capsular stigma; it is not E. auriculatum, of the lions head limestone, cheating, I shone that the flora,. [illegible] ajjittite de bane, [illegible] merely school; style just equaling the filicinato. Roor pyramid. Lions 6-8"x 1-2" short 13 sg. Apr. 22, 1864.- Near Carson City 137.- Same - var. grandiflorum - lions 10-11' long x 2" - surrounded by the stand tiki remains ; previous grass's growths, like quincuncus form 4" long, pustols 1' long, and - white sporangia exceeding the anthors - pedicle of the capsule 2' long. Flora, is a rather close strik pericida, oculata, corn, with a tapering form or bicornis base - segments of periodite oblong with an attitude bar - branched by the pendule Tonsa^; lions ranging from Louisville to nearly Abriecour 3-5° high.
