Allelic has long straight tail shaft
to not so wedge shaped as Flicker &
Rufous has notch in tail. He thinks
"" are only older birds.
Mar. 24 Heard West. Fly catch

earlier than 1895. 3/26 a S/s
hawk made a dive for small
Chick. They want for him.
3/27 a robin on poplars. 3/26
& 24 heard trill of Lett. Warb. &
I never knew what it was till
