Fric heard. 20 Juncos seen. 21 Bush Tits numerous. 22 Cal. Thrushes heard uttering rich babble. 23 S.S. Spar. singing. I let him over cliff by rope mudgrains & one lashed to rock he climbed. No signs of Horn, owls. Too many picknickers. Found 1 feather from face of Barn owl in rock hole. 24 Meadow larks seen heard. Looked (25/37 w. 13. l. seemin flocky) (26/4 Flickers) for Red-tails nest he knew for years (27, owf. Storm. Thrush seen) but was gone. Didn't have time to go to rocks to S.E. Could see Sheep Island, San Pablo Bay etc. Says he has got eggs from Red-tails nest (I saw bird on @ Mt. Diablo last year) by using scoop from above; & that they breed on cliff x
