as their usual haunts are at least a mile away and there is only one band there so far as I know. 1906. Dec. 1. Today I saw 40 or 50 Turkey Vultures coming from their roost just before sunrise today. The roost is in the trees on top of the ridge on the O'Connor tract just across the road from the Dobey Ranch. 1906. Mar. 13. During the past few days I have heard several birds in full "spring corp" Wm. Yellow-throat, Tree Wren, Wm. Paranna Sparrow - and Crown Sparrow. 1908. Mar. 21.
