have been heard singing in the willows several times late. Once I heard it late in the P.M. after it was quite dark. July-10. Found a nest and y.g. of House Finch in my barn today. There are 6 or 7 nests of Cliff Dwallow being built there. One inside and the others under the eaves. July-30. About a dozen Barn Dwellows seen perched upon the tubes at an open space of water. They were evidently after flies. July-31. Barn Dwellows seen as before flying about water hole and perched upon the tubes. A Black Phoebe also seen at same place. Sept-27.
