A great many Horned Larks seen on road to Glorio Nearly all were in the shad- ows of the fence boards and posts. A dozen or so Turkey Vultures and Crows seen at a slau- gher house which is at the edge of the town of Gonzales! The Vultures were settling on the fences and ridge poles or buildings some having their wings expanded. Also noticed that the Horn- ed Larks mentioned above had their wings expanded. June-28.
