These are the only birds I re- member or that could be con- sidered this species. June. 21. A good many wild Pigeons are to be seen in the canons and hay fields eating grain. Anna's Hummers ♂ and ♀ are to be seen in almost any place, perched upon a dry limb, Buzzing about a flower or executing various performances in the air. It will often allow one to ap- proach within four or five feet before they will leave their perch. Turkey Vultures are to be seen in numbers some days and other days are not to be seen at all.
