Obtained a fine high-plumaged drake.
June 6, 1909.
The drake cinnamon Teal now shows a few
of the eclipse feathers in the upper part of
his breast and and on his flanks. They are
not solid cinnamon color like his present
ones, but are barred.
June 29, 1909.
The drake Cinnamon Teal shows no particular
change since last written about.
July 4, 1909.
More spotted feathers are appearing in the
drake Cinnamon Teal's flar sides and breast, and
on close observation several can be seen in his
head.
July 18, 1909.
The drake Cinnamon Teal continues to change.
The under tail coverts are becoming mottled instead of
black.
