Macrorhamphus griseus. Three or four.
Calidris arenaria. Three on south shore Bay Farm
Island - Two immature ones taken.
Phalaropus hyperboreus. One on west shore Bay
Farm Island.
Ardea herodias. Unusually numerous to-day.
Hawkes. Two large dark colored hawks
with white tail rump bands were seen in
marsh. Buteo borealis (?).
Melospiza cinerea and Geothlypis trichas in marsh.
Cormorants. Cormorants in ones, twos, and threes
were seen all day. Those which came close
were Phalacrocorax auritus.
