in the morning.

Alameda, bal. to and from San Francisco, Cal.
7:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. and 6:15 P.M. to 5:40 P.M.
Conditions:- East wind; raining; and moderate temperature in
the morning. In the evening, clear, no wind, warm.
There were quite a few ducks along the seawall and an
abundance of them along the mole. Just after we had left the mole
three Aythya marila passed along in a northerly direction.
There was quite a movement among the loons, thirty or forty
being seen going northward. Until we reached Goat Islands, Larus californicus predominated, there being about twelve follow.
