Alameda to San Francisco, cal.
Conditions: - 7:00 to 8:00 A.M. blear; rather cold; north wind.
Along the seawall and along the mole, grebes were common. On the bay Larus delawarensis and Larus californicus ales occurred commonly.
San Francisco to Alameda, Cal.
Conditions: - 5:15 to 5:35 P.M. blear; cool; NW wind.
Larus californicus. common.

Among birds brought in by hunters, I saw the following:-
Rallus obsoletus, Rallus virginianus, Totanus melanoleucus, Symphemia semipalmata, Felidna alpina, Eremetes occidentalis.
