Euphagus cyanoccephalus. Flock of about 100 circling near
5th St. Flock of about 12 near 6th St.

7:00 to 8:00 A.M. High tide.
Passer domesticus.
Melospiza cinerea. One.
Along the mole about 15 gulls may out.
Saw one Phalacrocorax as the train passed.
On the bay.

Conditions: - 7:00 to 8:00 A.M. Overcast; moderate temper-
atire; wind a little S.W.
Passer domesticus.
At West Alameda Station I saw two barpodacae mex-
icanus on a telephone wire. Flying over the vegetable
gardens were two Euphagus cyanoccephalus. I also saw
two over the marsh. In a very shallow slough quite
near the gardens I saw three large shore birds. There
about a dozen birds quite a ways out on the water along
the mole; I was unable to make out just what they were
although they were probably gulls. Saw a Phalacrocorax
light on the water near by. There were a good many gulls
