A few. Numenius hudsonicus. . Snipe. A few. Ducks. A large flock from the southeast stopped for a while on the water in the open bay. Melospiza cinerea. Common. Geothlypis trichas. A few. Sceyle alcyon. Saw one near foot of street on railroad bridge. Melrose Slough: 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Clear; warm; light W W wind. I saw the following birds:- Actodromas minutilla. Common.
