A House Wren was seen about 11 a.m. at the titmouse box, and soon after began to take in sticks. Very quiet - probably female. A Dwarf Hermit Thrush, was seen on the terrace in front of the dining room. It was catching small insects by running after them. At each run however it fell forward on its head almost as a wagtail does. I noticed also that it's tail frequently touched the ground, then discovered it was nearly one foot.
