Canvasback - two seen
Lesser Scaup - 200+ Common Loon? seen.
Am. Golden Eye - 6+ - two min. P?
Surf Scoter and White-winged Scoter
Ruddy Duck - a very few
Marsh Hawk - one seen several times
Clapper Rail - running across a slough
Coot - several seen
Bufflehead - Belding's? - 20-50, acalated, winter plumage, 1 breeding plumage?
Kildeer - several pairs
Black Turnstone (one seen)
Willits - 200+ scattered - one close flock.
Long-billed Dowitcher - 20+ close in. Probably
Glacous - winged Hull - ab.
Western Gull - Prov. Cali. at Ringtail also -
Forster's Tern - 20+ on bay just west of airport.
(first ones seen this spring)
Horned Lark - Many seen. Song heard.
Barn Swallow - near Golf Course. First this spring
Pipit - several seen. Still in winter plumage;
Meadowlarks ab., Singing. Apparently located for
nesting.
Limpets - in brush back of airport. Singing
Barnyard Sparrow. Very ab. Found a nest on ground
under short coarse grasses. Nest completely domed
with a constricted entrance. Three eggs. Dry wide
blades grass formed the frame and dome of the nest -

Least Sandpiper - small flocks scattered about
Western Sandpiper - possibly - not definitely seen
32 Sandloung - bunched at high tide -
