One Spotted Towhee on the hillside above the dairy was singing an unrecognizable song - Chee, Chee, Chee, Chee. There was no suggestion of Towhee quality. I think it was very similar to the song I heard at Boulder Creek several years ago. March 21-23 - Almost continuously Cloudy but very little rain. March 24-25. The Lady Birds went to Carmel where we spent the night with Dorothy Clarks and Dorothy Sheldon. Cloudy most of the Time with some rain. On the way down sunshine at Hecker Pass (one stop), and Moss Landing where we dined. Birds at Moss Landing were very abundant and interesting and the light excellent.
