It has the accent and slowness of a Vireo's song but the quality of a purple finch, but too subdued. No call notes were given. After listening some time, I discovered it was a thrasher imitating the finch. Spotted Towhee sang at dawn continuously. Song Sparrows and robins were heard. July 14.
