146 1937 Feb.24 Berkeley. Saw male Allen Hummer in wild currant bush at the entrance to the garden. Feb.25 Rain most of the day. Feb.26. Occasional rain. Heard Siskins, Pipitines on Feb.27. Partly cloudy. A flock of finches came & Turtle. Crowned Sparrows singing again. I heard a Poor Will Twice during the night. Calls repeated each time. Feb.28. Flickers giving spring calls - Mar.6.
