On the west side of the bridge Clapper Rails were abundant - about 20 seen from the highway as we drove along - and a very few Bob. Plows. (On the return trip at 5 p.m. both American (ab.) and Snowy (!) Egrets were on the South side of the highway. Warm at Boulder Creek. Dec.20- Light rain all day afternoon. Dec.21. Clearing.
