Gulls. Curlew identified from Train - the
large gull, pink feet, back staty gray.
Apr.26. Went with Mrs. Negaso to Claremont
region. Many Vagons views. Heard 1 Tolume
Warbler, East 1 Rufous-c. Sp., Sharp shined
Nank.
Apr.27. N. Wind. Hot. at 3:45 a.m. heard
Lazuli Bunting sing from near dairy.

Apr.28. Hot.
Apr.29. Warm, beautiful day. Saw flock of
6-8 Cedar Waxwings. Golden-crowned
Sparrow - banded on left foot, Till here
molt almost finished. Gold band not wide,
black wider. Two White-crowned Sparrows
bathing - (migrants ?) Not gray enough to
be intermediate. Lawrence Goldfinch
seen in La Loma.
Apr.30. Heard Lazuli Bunting. Robins and
juncos on campus. Cool - pleasant.
May 1. Cold. Southe wind - Rain p-m.
May 2. 1 Russet-backed Thrush seen at bend.
May 3. Lazuli Bunting in Mrs Jackson's
garden. Frost early a.m. Cool.
