Neermano Bonaparte Gulls, Sandpipers
1 Phalarope. Many ducks on mud flats

Oct. 12-13. Golden-er Sp. began coming to
Carmel.
Oct. 13 - Foggy. Fox Sp. swinging freely.
Nemuit Th. common.
Oct. 15. Saw many (12) Gratecatchers on
brushy hillside in Claremont. 1 Killdeer
flew over.
Oct. 19. Went to Bay Farm Island. Saw
Pipits, Lusets, Bryant Marsh Sp., Salt marsh
Song Sp., Poc. Yellow-throat, Meadow L.,
Killdeer, Eng. Sp., Blue Heron, Grebe, Sp. Hawk,
Marsh Hanks, Green backed Goldf., Nuttall Sp.,
Ant. Sp. Shrike, W. Sandp., Red-b. Sandp.,
Black-b. Plover, Snowy Plover, Brewer
Black-b. Barn Wld + Eared Grebe shotdry minutes,
Heard Kingfisher as I went down the hill.
Oct. 28. Heard 2 Kingfishers up the Canyon.
Robin heard. Gratecatcher on Mosswood
Road.
Nov. 1. Little W. Winter Veen flew into house.
Kept it in a box several hours hoping
to give it to Mr. Bryant for his array
