Apr.29 (cont.) Mr. Denney took pictures
of a pair of Zanail and Blue Jay on
Table and two baby Titmouses posed
on a twig. Beautiful day.
Apr.30. Heard Louie Bentley - first time.
May 2. Mr. Denney tries again to get photographs.
Brought whole brood of titmouses to front
porch which I netted in. Birds could
not perch and showed much fear.
One managed to escape and joined
parents in trees. They could climb
up netting and cling to vertical
wall of shingles or brick - but not
to twig.
May 4. Five eggs in House Wren's nest.
May 13- Left Berkeley for year abroad. See
next notebook.
