Feb.28. A pair of thrashers on the table,
both eating canary seed. Bush-tits
building a nest in oak tree in the
garden.
Feb.29. A Raccoon came through the
woods to drinking fountain, past
dining room porch, past front
porch, down steps and off to rest
through woods at 4:30 p.m.
Perhaps a mascot belonging to
one of our fraternities. Students
worked on trails in hills this a.m.
Labor Day - leapper.
Mar. 3. Rain.
Mar. 6. Went to Golden Gate Park with Jamie
while Mrs. Parsons buried poison oak.
Beautiful day. Many Allen Hummers-
Jap. Juniper in full bloom- Also
many Prunus Dickinsoni. On Slim Lake
were Mallards, Puddles (1 full plumage)
Blue Bills, 1 Buffle Head, 1 Pied-billed
Grebe. On Bay saw 2 W. Grebes.
Used Binoculars - first time.
