Nov.16. Last bird walk over stadium site.
Found Red-breasted Nuthatches, Golden-crowned
Knights, Huttons Vireos, beside other commoner
birds.
Nov.17. Last protest against stadium- City hall.
Nov.19. Heavy tube fog at night.
Nov.20. " " " a.m., 7 p.m.
Nov.21. Clear, cold.
Nov.22. 2 Willow goldfinches with juncoes at pool.
Nov.23. Went to Lake Merritt with class.
Found 4 rare Geese(2?), many pintails, shovelers
baldpates, mallards, Canvas backs, Ruddy
and a few blue-bills. 1 male buffle-head and
3 females, 1 Snow goose, 3 hybrid ducks.
2 Thrashless.

Nov.28. 1 Fox sparrow came to table. Also
banded Br. Towhee and Blue jay.
Nov.29. At pool: 1 S.F.Towhee, 2 Br. Towhees,
1 Varied Thrush and 1 banded White-throated
Sparrow. Cold, clear. Quail go thru' garden
several times a day.
