Tumber on table. Call note at dusk
rounded like Fox Sparrow - Now seen
yet. many Robins in pine trees at dusk.
Sept.29. 1 Golden-crowned sp. on table and
took bath. At 2:30 pm. 1 W. Quat-
catcher and 2 Andubon Wallers in
Lake line at S.E. corner of house.
Quatcatcher catching insects - Exceed-
ingly great.
Sept.30. Cool - Cloudy -
Oct.1. Intermediate Sparrows singing.
Robin at dawn. Fox Sparrow sang -
James taken sick - terrible pain in
back. Went to hospital for cast.
Very bad night -
Oct.2. Golden-crowned Sparrow sang wonder-
fully at dawn. Fox Sparrow seen also.
A night of pain and anguish
But with the awakening dawn
Three golden notes down dropping -
