Went up in woods in a.m. Heard Tanager. Sicks after- noon and evening. Robin to roost. Sept. 5 Robin at dawn. Thrasher and Vigors Brown singing. Heard Pileated Wahbler call. Sunny. Sept. 6. Thrasher singing. Sept. 7. Thrasher imitated postman's whistle. Jamie heard Kingfisher in early a.m. Sept. 8. Mr. Ferguson took me to Oakland to see Dr. MacLean. Weight 138 lb. - 5lbs. gained since 9 got up. Sept. 10. Cold. fog. mind - Sept. 11 Foggy a.m. Sunny p.m. Sept. 12. Florence, brought a Pullet - backed Thrush but it flew just before she came to door.
