284 Notes Puget Sound Sparrow L71888. Former band no. B161094. Banded 11/24 '38 at B, as an immature Gambel Sparrow. When trapped 3/11 '34 it did not look like Gambeli or Nuttalli. Bought the bird into museum and it was identified by Dr. Ginnell as Pugetensis. Bird is moulting. Puget Sound Sparrow L72889. Former band no. B161076. Banded 11/21 '38 at B as a Gambel Sparrow. Identification as pugetensis confirmed by Miss Wythe. Puget Sound Sparrow L72890. Formerly band no. B161354. Banded 3/23 '32 as an immature Nuttall Sparrow, at B. Identification as pugetensis confirmed by Miss Wythe. Dunil A444473. May 6 1934. While I was handling this female, a male was walking rapidly around, sometimes approaching within ten feet, and uttering cries of distress. Ricasio Jays B324437-B324438-A411664. Snapped at same time 5/6 '34 in government sparrow traps. Never trapped more than one at a time before. These three and B324439 have been trapped a total of five eight times on May 1, 4, 6.
