(34 traps in this string), 31 traps along trail from creek down almost to beach then up south side -- along cliff and along trail in next canyon (south) and along edge of cliffs north of Sumner's. Good results on north trail and to beach - poorer on south side - and no catch at all on cliff south of canyon. gambeli J's 18 {9- jnr-post-jnr, " g's 6 {3- jnr, Perog. J's 4 {2- post-jnr, Mus 1 sex? 6/11 Drops (44 in all) (1) from top on north side of 2nd canyon along trail down almost to beach. 5 mice in 14 traps. Bait taken from nearly all empty traps. This true of the other two strings. (2) 10 traps on edge of mesa around head of 2nd canyon starting at end of north trail. 6 mice in 10 traps. (3) 20 traps
