B.W.P 1155 Bonin Lp 1 S 1200 Sooty Tern 2 E Very low to water compared to other Sooty Terns I have seen P.F. 1240 w.n.p 1 NW Seen briefly but at fairly close range - Back grey black ; whitish impression of head and best look at rump which was was whitish with a darker median area B+ J.F.P 1315 DRP 1 NE Neck appeared concolor with head and back despite what I thought were extensions of neck patches, These were not that predominant. The bird possessed a whitish rump and was clear white underneath. (No noticeable wing margin) B+ 1 dark 1 light 1404 WidgeTail 2 S 1430 Bulwars P 1 SW 1423 Shear-Patul 2 S J.F.P 1725 DRP 1 1458 WidgeTail 2 W 1506 WidgeTail 1 S 1508 Shear. Patul 1 NE 1517 WidgeTail 1 SE 1530 Shear Patul 1 NE Seen by watch J.F.P 1603 DRP 1 1607 C.I Sh. 2 NW Initially sitting on water (Vide Ternite) Not seen by me. (RBE) Seen very well - Flight the "typical" horizontal flap-flap-flip soar. Color chunkiness all right - A+ 1640 1713 w.n.p 2 NW Small school (?) of small dolphins seen swimming ESE - Not seen well 1715 Sooty Tern 2 NE Seen over small school of skipjack? tuna - 1715 Pt.sp. 2 SE Cookilarias group - Darks level, top of wings, and top 6 dark with varying whitish markings underwings & breast and undertail whitish flow about like a Bonin in P. about the same stage
