June 12 Journal 91.
Colorado Desert, Calif.
We began night collecting along
Highway 78 and also along the road
leading to Borrego Springs. Although
no wind had been blowing during the
day, it blew quite hard after sun-
down. The temperature was a good

on the road. A total of 3 Phyllorhynchus
decurtatus were finally collected, and
all of these were on the Vallecito
Road. (This road is now paved 16 miles
from Scissors Crossing.) We returned
to Yaqui Well at 12:30 AM & camped
for the rest of the night.
