Dec. 8
we picked up the mice caught in the 25 traps
last night; we had 21 mice which we autopsied
and took the following data on: morphological measurements,
weight, sex, age, ectoparasites, condition of reproductive
tract, measurement of reproductive organs, and cased the
skin; we set the traps again after supper.
Dec. 9
today we caught 20 mice and spent most the
day autopsying them; we reset the traps after
supper but this time moved them from the east
end of the island to the west end.
