Lehner P. 1964 58 Sept. 8 mousctraos were not set last night - no recoveries to be made today; a jeep went to the other end to recover the picnic table, bench and bodies of those who never made it back; the jeep promptly got stuck and called for help; in P.M. we ran the routine plots; late P.M. finished Sooty Tern blood samples by taking 10 (whole blood *2cc) + 8cc to be spun down) samples - we also took another regular sample (5cc from each of two birds); Cam took samples while I banded 150 sooty Terns - rained like hell! The Sooty Population is extremely low - the Wedgetails seem more numerous.
