Lehmer, P. 1964 54 Sept. 4 today was the first guywire census; We were up at 4:30 A.M. to watch the scheduled missile go off but it was canceled; Cam ran the census from dawn till 11:30 A.M.; I took over after lunch and ran it till dark; during the census we also banded 100 Common Noddy Tern locals; we also ran the routine plots the rest of the day and evening; I saw a Sooty Tern young with still some down today - the youngest Sooty I've seen since out here; the Sooty Tern population is decreasing rapidly.
