Scarcely common. Leds near stream. 5957 270 Melospiza var. fallax 6.1X7.9 ♀ 5958 271 Antiochus ludovicianus 6.8X10.6 ♀ J. brown. Bill dark brown, rales below at base. Legs brown. Several seen where in march at the stream. 5959 272 Polioptila plumbea 4.5X5.5 ♀ Very active. Appears to have just finished laying her set. It is little curious that this pair (both were shot near camp) should be breeding here and I not see them before for I have shot Polioptila on eight, too far.
