10 May 81 30 Mls South of Tucson Ariz. Vol. C. G. Cory. Micrarium whitneyi 5.7 X 15.1 F. Obtained by falling in giant Cactus 30 ft. high. She con- tained an egg having just sufficient shell to break, and two others that would have been laid soon. May have laid others already but not incubating. The egg is so badly fractured that meas- urements can only be approx- imate, but they are about 5.8 X 6.02. Fragments saved. Are on our way to the Santa Rita Mountains.
