4 May 8 Tucson Ariz 6011 324 Corvus cryptolens 19.9 X 40.7 ♀ J. Mr. Brown, Bill & [illegible] A small proportion of the Ravens here are of this species. They can usually be distinguished among a flock by the smaller size, and [illegible] different voice, which at times sounds somewhat like the quacking of a Duck. This one came flying over camp this morning and it received a heavy load of No 9 shot at short range. The bill is badly broken and the skin is punched as full holes as a cullender. I shun it only because being doubtful of getting another. Wokorean laying 6012 325 Melodellia luscinia 11 X 17.9 ♀ 6013 326 Helminthophaga luciae 4.3 X 7 ♂ 6014 327 Anisops flaviceps 4.3 X 6.5 ♂
