September Two young girls were shot about Sept. 26th and a fair
adult ♂ (by Miss Seguin) Sept. 28 on the Middlebridge
burnt Cands. Mr. Shumway tells me that he saw only
one last autumn in all his hunting & Daniel Haywood
has seen but one in the Berkshire Hills again in
the last five years.
