Wilsonia canadensis. Canada Warbler in full song. Megalloway River, Lake Umbagog, Maine. 1900. We left Flint's at 7.30 A.M. and drove to the upper Sept.6. landing where we launched the canoes and started down stream. .... It was an interesting day with fine cloud effects especially at sunset. There were many birds, too, of the smaller kinds. I saw or heard Brown Creepers, Chickadees, Nashville, Yellow-rumped and Black-throated Green Warblers, a Canada Flycatcher in full song (he sang at short regular intervals as long as we were within hearing), Cedar birds, Blue Jays, Flickers (2), a few Robins, several Song Sparrows, etc.
