Lake Umbagog, Maine.
Dendroica coronata
1896. May 26. In town, as well, sometimes,
in form, also, the key of this
rather resembles really closely that
of D. dominica, I have been struck
by this likeness a dozen times or
more than past few days. But strangely
enough it has never occurred to me
during this season. You long has a
pretty and very pleasing quality of
melody and any preoccupation as if the
premieres or presumpation as if the
bird was ripping in its song. I doubt
if the White Wren (Marsh v. H.) birds sing
like them here.
