Passer domesticus
On May 13th to 14th or 15th an English
Sparrows (♀) frequented the Salem Ground
tree in front of the hotel. I did
not see her after words nor did
I see any of her kind about the
Ball House. On June 14 I drove
from Ballville through Digsville hotel
to Colebrooke. The first Sparrows seen
were about four houses midway between
the Hotel & Colebrooke. They continued
thence all the way to Colebrooke where
they were rather uncommon as they
were rather uncommon in the
village proper.
