Sayornis phoebe. Lake Umbagog. Phoebee's nest under bridge. 1903 June 13 A pair of Phoebes continue to nest under the bridge that crosses the river by the mill where I found them as far back as 1872. I saw one of the birds to-day very near this bridge. They used to be the only Phoebes known to occur about Umbagog but there is another pair settled this season at the steamer landing in front of Lakeside where they probably have a nest in one of the boat houses. 54
