3 July I saw what I thought was the ♀ go into enclosure feed north of
and exit 1' pane bottomed xclosure thru the fencing carrying a food
sac. I also saw a Scrub Jay in the vicinity!
4 July Found nest(?) pnd at 8½/feet old spot no eggs but cup looks
complete. Figueroa said that Big Sur Inn has good pancakes
& open for breakfast 0800 hours - 1100 hours, then reopen
1630 hours for dinner.
Today I have seen 4 individuals throughout the
study area with only one tail feathers or none,
another bird appears to be missing body feathers.
